Privacy Policy

Theyutes is a Nigerian fashion and beauty commerce platform connecting buyers with African designers, brands, and creatives. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to theyutes.com, the Theyutes apps, and the Asé concierge — including when you connect Asé to an external AI assistant.

Account & profile. Your name, email, phone, and delivery addresses; optionally your sizes/measurements, style preferences, skin profile, and wardrobe — which you provide to get better recommendations.

Orders & payments. What you buy, order status, and delivery details. Card payments are processed by our payment provider (Paystack); Theyutes does not store your full card number.

Usage. How you interact with the site and Asé, device and log data, and cookies (see our Cookies notice).

AI connections.If you connect Theyutes to an AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and similar), we store a secure access record for that connection so it can act for you. We never store the AI provider's credentials, and the connection only carries the permissions (scopes) you granted.

Messages & notifications. If you opt in to push notifications, we store the delivery subscription for your device so we can send order and service updates; you can withdraw consent any time in your device settings. If you message us on WhatsApp (or tick the WhatsApp option at checkout), we store the conversation and your number so Asé can reply and send order updates there — reply STOP at any time to switch this off. We only send WhatsApp messages to people who opted in.

To fulfil and deliver your orders; to personalise recommendations and plans; to operate, secure, and improve the platform; to communicate with you about your account, orders, and — where you haven't opted out — relevant updates; and to comply with our legal obligations.

When you connect Theyutes to an AI assistant, that assistant can — on your instruction — search the catalogue, build plans, read the parts of your profile you granted, and add items to your bag. It cannot move money. Every purchase is completed by you, with a tap, on Theyutes — never automatically by the AI. You can revoke any connection at any time at theyutes.com/disconnect, which immediately invalidates its access.

We share data only as needed to run the service: with merchants and creatives to fulfil your orders and bookings; with logistics partners to deliver; with our payment processor to take payment; and with service providers (hosting, email, analytics) under contract. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data where required by law.

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax, and dispute obligations. We protect data with encryption in transit, access controls, and hashed credentials and tokens.

Subject to applicable law (including the Nigeria Data Protection Act), you may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

Theyutes is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy as the service evolves; we'll revise the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you.
