Jolomi (Yellow)

The Jolomi Dress is constructed from bold cotton batik fabric, its expressive print covering every inch of the garment from the halter neck to the floor. The fabric is light and generous, moving with extraordinary freedom and energy in motion, the skirt lifts, billows, and swirls, filling the space around the wearer with volume and life.

The bodice is fitted and structured, sitting close to the body and rising into a halterneck that ties at the back of the neck, leaving the shoulders and back open and exposed. This fitted top half creates a deliberate tension with the explosive volume below.

From the hip, the skirt opens dramatically. Layers of gathered batik fabric falling in a full, floor-length sweep. At each side, drawstrings cinch and ruche the fabric, pulling it into large gathered pockets of textile that sit at the hip and add sculptural dimension to the silhouette. These gathered details give the wearer control over how the skirt sits and moves, and transform the dress into something that feels as much sculptural as it does wearable.

FIT

Fitted through the bodice with a halterneck tie. Dramatically voluminous and free through the skirt. Floor-length. Side drawstrings allow the wearer to adjust the gathering at the hip.
