The Dieko Pants are constructed from a curated mix of vintage aso oke fabrics sourced from different parts of South-West Nigeria, pieced together in a deliberate patchwork composition. Each panel carries its own weave, pattern, and rhythm — densely woven geometric motifs, open striped weaves, and intricate detailing sitting side by side across the full length of the garment, creating a composition that is layered, considered, and deeply rooted in textile heritage.
The silhouette is wide and straight, falling cleanly and generously from the hip to the ankle with a confident, grounded stance. The cargo detailing is the defining feature — oversized double patch pockets sit prominently on the outer side of each leg, stacked one above the other and constructed from contrasting vintage aso oke panels. These pockets are bold and intentional, adding structure, dimension, and a utilitarian character to the patchwork composition.
The hem is finished with a deep folded cuff — a clean turn-back that sits neatly at the ankle, allowing the texture and weave of the vintage aso oke to be appreciated from a different angle and adding a considered, structured finish to the base of the garment.
The waistband sits low on the hip and is elasticated with an adjustable drawstring tied at the front, offering comfort and ease without compromising the relaxed, low-slung silhouette.

FIT
Wide and straight through the leg with a low-slung elasticated waist. The drawstring allows for adjustment at the waist. Falls cleanly to the ankle with a deep folded cuff hem finish.
